As a graduate of Moultrie Technical College majoring in Computer Information Systems & Networking, Steve commonly focuses his thoughts on other subjects. To Steve, computers and computer services have become more of a hobby.

Steve is an active Certified Firefighter, an Instructor for the Tifton/Tift County local Jr. Firefighter Organization, and a volunteer for the Red Cross Disaster Action Team. Amateur archaeology (specifically searching for fossils and Native American artifacts) is also one of Steve's hobbies and he loves tinkering with just about anything electrical or mechanical.

Steve is also an advanced Amateur Astronomer with over 20 years experience in this field. The Red Barn Observatory (MPC-H68) is Steve's personally owned observatory in which he primarily studies minor planets - including both comets and asteroids.

Over the past few years, Steve has found a passion for writing. He began learning to write when he found the need to document research reports from the minor planet research he was generating from his observatory. From there, he began to write Astronomy related articles and guides - while further improving his writing skills and grammar.

Now, Steve writes in hopes to futher improve his writing skills and provide information for people to "read what he writes".
